We just read about the new spring menu items at LIC Market at Fooditka. As usual, everything pictured here looks absolutely delicious and just makes up want to head to Long Island City immediately for LIC Market.

We pass by this spot in Long Island City from time to time. We’ve always been intrigued by chimney cake. We also had no idea what it was but have never wandered through Long Island City long enough to ask. Thanks for the info and we’ll definitely be trying a chimney cake very soon!

Forcella is definitely some of the most delicious pizza in NYC. The fried pizza is amazing, but we have to say one of our favorites is the Materdei pie. This one is baked, not fried but it is topped with salami and it is delicious.

Every single pizza here looks better than the last! Basil Brick Oven Pizza in Astoria has been added to our list of “must try immediately!” We can hardly believe that we’ve never tried anything from there. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

Speculoos is a cookie made by Lotus. If you like it, check out something called Biscoff spread. It’s made out of speculoos, and is like if peanut butter was made out of sugar cookies. Yum.

We haven’t been able to stop in on the new Corner Bistro in Long Island City. We’re happy to know that it is possible to duplicate the feel and especially the food of the original. We’ll have to swing into the new location in Long Island City. That burger looks delicious!

This is definitely one of our favorite spots in Long Island City.We love the pastrami, the mashed sweet potatoes and if we’re feeling on the healthy side, the Jackson Salad. Now that we’re talking about how delicious the food is, you’ll probably find us in LIC very soon.
